Hidden Gem
Float Trip
Discover Rock Creek’s pristine waters from an entirely new perspective during a guided float trip. Whether taking a scenic drift or venturing off to explore one of Montana’s legendary off-ranch fisheries, each excursion is tailored to your skill level and preference.
Our experienced guides navigate you through waters rich with native trout while sharing their knowledge of seasonal patterns and local fishing techniques. From the comfort of your fishing raft, designed for two guests and one guide, you’ll enjoy personalized instruction and a front-row seat to the region’s best fishing holes.
Montana Float Trip
Your fly fishing float trip begins with a morning departure, when our guides load specialized river floaters with all necessary gear, including Simms waders and premium fly rods for those who prefer to leave their personal gear at home. As your raft glides silently downstream, you’ll cast to rising trout while surrounded by breathtaking wilderness. The rhythm of the river creates perfect opportunities for active fishing and peaceful observation.
Your float trip is a lesson in reading and appreciating water, where miles of untouched forestry unfold alongside Montana’s diverse aquatic ecosystems. Here, the natural world comes alive around you as you drift through riparian corridors alongside the potential of moose wading through backwater eddies and underneath eagles returning to their nests high above.
Your Montana float trip isn’t complete without a shore lunch, featuring locally-sourced ingredients and panoramic views.
