Hygge Wine Weekend

Celebration Details

Spring 2024 Dates TBD

Surround yourself with the comforts of a historic homestead during The Ranch’s inaugural Hygge Wine Weekend. Hygge is a cornerstone of Danish culture, a lifestyle of comfort and conviviality that engenders a feeling of well-being. In kindred spirit with Denmark, Montanans value taking time away from the daily rush of life to enjoy life’s quieter pleasures – a glass of wine, a beautiful view, a contemplative hobby or a slow-cooked dinner.

We are excited to partner with National Geographic photographer and filmmaker, Ami Vitale and Philipsburg’s Resident Artist, Rachel Marjamaa for our Hygge weekend. Ami Vitale will host a photography workshop and inspirational talk that shares her personal journey—documenting heroes saving the last of northern white rhinos from extinction, reintroducing giant pandas to the wild, as well as the heartwarming story of Kenya’s first indigenous-owned and run elephant sanctuary.

Enjoy a glass of wine curated by Ranch Sommelier Craig O. while you try your hand at wool felting or a beeswax candle making class with Rachael Marjamaa. Rachel uses raw materials derived from our agricultural heritage to handcraft a textural and more inviting home and hearth. Soak in the warmth, enjoy the simplicity and build friendships with those around you to last a lifetime.
