Leave work and worries aside as you coast down runs, snowmobile through frosted forests, or test your skills on our five shooting ranges. We’re celebrating two full weeks of winter wanderlust with included ice fishing excursions, winemaker dinners and a collaboration with fellow Relais & Chateaux property, Twin Farms. Choose the week that fits your style best and we’ll craft your custom itinerary along with live music, pairing menus, après-ski spa treatments and sauna sessions.  You’ll make the most of winter in Forbes Travel Guide five-star style before it melts away as you trade the bustling ski hills for a serene and stress-free winter wonderland.

  • Standard RC Inclusions: luxury accommodations; all meals; premium wine, beer, spirits and other beverages; a selection of gear and on-ranch activities; round-trip transportation facilitated to and from Missoula and Butte airports upon request.

Chris Wilson

Twin Farms’ cuisine is an ode to the changing seasons, inspired by Vermont’s finest produce and Twin Farms’ estate-grown herbs and vegetables. Pastry Chef Chris Wilson has been with Twin Farms since 2004, the culmination of a career that spans both sweet and savory cooking in several esteemed culinary institutions. Chef Chris’s kitchen produces it all: apple jam from the Twin Farms orchard, artisanal breads, even the garden lavender chocolates placed on the pillow.

Max fell in love with wine while studying history at the University of Montana. He honed his sommelier skills as Wine Director of two Relais & Chateaux properties, Triple Creek Ranch and The Fearrington House. In 2018 Max passed the rigorous Master Sommelier examination, a title held by less than 300 people globally. The enduring vision at BOND— established in 1996 by H. William Harlan and founding winemaker Bob Levy—is to create a portfolio of wines that are ‘Grand Cru’ in quality, all under the aegis of one philosophy, one team, one mark.

Chloé Asseo-Fabre

Co-Owner/General Manager

Stephan Asseo established Domaine de Courteillac in Bordeaux in 1982. Stephan wanted to expand his expertise while gaining more freedom in viticulture and vinification so L’Aventure was born in Paso Robles, California. Wine has always been part of Chloé Asseo-Fabre’s life. After working in France marketing high-end brands, in 2014, she officially joined L’Aventure and became in charge of all the sales and marketing. She also became more involved in the vinification process by being part of the blending decisions with her father. In January 2021, she took over as General Manager and now oversees the operation of the winery.

Craig O. (Osborne)

Sommelier

Craig O. is a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers. He later pursued an Associate’s Degree from the Culinary Institute of America in New York. Interest in Relais & Chateaux properties brought Craig first to Blackberry Farm and later to The Ranch at Rock Creek as a line cook. The transition to the Front of the House led Craig to Quince in San Francisco. In 2021 Craig returned to Montana as the Sommelier at The Ranch at Rock Creek. Craig curates a wine list that is as unique as it is extensive.
