Classic Canvas Cabins

Seasoned travelers will delight in bespoke glamping tents, created to provide guests comfort and inspiration from Montana’s natural surroundings. With spacious bedrooms and additional living space, each cabin is individually furnished in a rustic camp style, featuring luxurious bedding, Western textiles and antique furniture.

Our four Classic Canvas Cabins are inspired by the murmuring creek that runs outside their front doors. Well-suited to couples, the Rainbow and Apache cabins include a king bed. The Gila and Bull cabins feature two queen beds and a love seat. All four cabins are equipped with a gas stove, screened porch and a deck facing the creek. In addition to an attached bathroom, each cabin has a private bathroom in the bathhouse, accessible via a short, lighted walkway.

Family Canvas Cabin

5 Guests Max, 790 Sq Feet

Immerse your family in nature by staying in one of our four Family Canvas Cabins on the banks of Rock Creek. The Family glamping cabins are distinctly furnished in a rustic camp style, and take their names from the residents of Montana waterways, the fish. They feature two rooms separated by a curtain.

The Grayling and Lake cabins offer one room with a king bed and one room with two twin beds or a converted king. The Brook and Cutbow cabins feature a king bed in one room, as well as two twin beds/converted king and a trundle in the other. All four cabins have two gas stoves, a screened porch, a reading nook and a private deck. In addition to a private bathroom, each accommodation has a second private bathroom in the bathhouse, accessible via a short, lighted walkway. The setting, close to Camp Roosevelt, has exceptional access to dining and activities, ensuring a stress-free family glamping adventure.

Premium Granite Lodge Rooms

4 Guests Max, 396 Sq Feet

Premium Granite Lodge Rooms are spacious and provide exceptional access to the hub of The Ranch. Located on the lower level, Winchester and Remington have high ceilings, king beds and pull-out sofas, to accommodate three guests comfortably. Both offer private access from the lodge courtyard. Remington is ADA-compliant.

Located on the upper level, Appaloosa and Palomino are appointed with custom king canopy beds and offer views of the sapphire mountains behind the Granite Lodge. Mustang is the only lodge room featuring two queen beds, and it is located across from Palomino.

Bear House

12 Guests Max, 3329 Sq Feet

Sit in a rocking chair and look over sweeping views of the Rock Creek Valley. The spacious landscape mirrors the spacious feeling inside this accommodation. Bear House is an accommodation you won’t find at other luxury resorts in Montana. Taking a bold cue from our state animal, the living spaces feature authentic ranch accents, like leather chairs, fresh flowers, a stone fireplace and traditional pottery.

This luxury cabin sleeps up to 12 people in six bedrooms, five with an ensuite bathroom, and one with a bathroom just outside the door. Upstairs is the largest suite, with a king bed. In addition, there are two more queen bedrooms. The lower level bedrooms are comprised of a queen and two twin beds/converted king, respectively, each with its own bathroom. In 2023, the garage was converted into a King bed executive suite with ensuite bathroom, including a bathtub and shower. This level also includes a full kitchen, dining room, sunroom, laundry room, wood-burning fireplace, and nighttime stargazing from the back deck hot tub. Rise and hike to Top of the World on hiking trails that pass right by the house and continue to two of The Ranch’s five peaks.

Cattail Cabin

6 Guests Max, 1432 Sq Feet

Cattail Cabin sits across from the Granite Lodge in a breathtaking location overlooking the valley and hillsides. The front porch faces Bikini Beach, dense with its namesake cattail plants in the summer or crystalized into an ice skating pond each winter.

This luxury home is suited to two couples or a large family, featuring two large suites, each with a king bed, ensuite bath and private access to the back deck. The layout includes a full kitchen and a comfortable living area warmed by a large stone fireplace. Each room also has a day bed that serves as a reading nook and extra guest accommodations.

Our itinerary was comprised by horseback riding, fly fishing, paint ball in the woods, archery, rimfire, sporting clays, mountain biking and sapphire mining. You can do as much or as little as you want, but because we had 4 kids our itinerary was as active as it gets. Flint Forest Rangers was the perfect spot for our 4 kids. It’s a kids program where they have super friendly counselors doing activities like adopting a horse, obstacle courses among other activities while parents engage in adult-only activities.”
