Bespoke Weddings Under the Big Sky
Ten square miles of river, forest, valley and vista provide almost limitless opportunities for breathtaking ceremonies, intimate brunches and festive receptions. Ranch weddings are designed to avoid the stress associated with metropolitan venues and destination wedding arrangements in tourist hubs. We offer custom, fully inclusive weddings for up to 125 guests with a property buyout. Private events are produced in a stunning and stress-free way that leaves you and your guests living in the moment.
Buckle Barn Great Hall & Lawn
From the 2,700 sq. ft. Great Hall to the surrounding flagstone and manicured lawn, the Buckle Barn is our most versatile year-round venue. Bathed in natural light and built with reclaimed barn wood and stamped ceiling tiles, our event barn can be booked for private breakfasts, luncheons, dinners and receptions. Enjoy cocktails on the lawn and an indoor reception or choose to expand into a large outdoor tent.

In concert with our custom glamping accommodations, The Blue Canteen is part ivory tent and part wooden cabin, featuring en plein air dining. An open kitchen provides a casual menu of burgers and barbeque, while fire pits and a wood stove radiate ample heat during an evening celebration.

Manicured lawns next to Camp Roosevelt play host to one of our favorite wedding events, the Hoedown. Although rustic in name, don’t underestimate the raucous good time provided by local musicians, dancing and a pig roast dinner served outdoors.

Granite Lodge Flagstone
The Flagstone sits at the center of the Granite Lodge courtyard by the Silver Dollar Saloon and the The Spa at Rock Creek. A wood fire outdoor grill and serving bar make it ideal for welcome receptions and festive outdoor meals. A welcome reception on the Flagstone may be provided free of charge with your wedding arrangements.

Granite Lodge & Patio
The Granite Lodge is reminiscent of the National Park lodges that defined Western luxury at the turn of the century. This year-round venue is excellent for four to six course meals featuring locally sourced ingredients. Each meal is complete with wine pairings.

Travel by horse-drawn wagon with your wedding party, family or small group of wedding guests to enjoy a picnic at Piney Pond or Bikini Beach. Enjoy the fresh air and wildlife watching while you eat a picnic lunch served out of our historic chuck wagon.

Mountain Peak Champagne Toasts
Savor an intimate moment and premium champagne from a Ranch vista. Bring your photographer to the top and add a photo session framed by the Pintler, John Long and Sapphire Mountain ranges.

Host an unforgettable social hour or whiskey tasting in our tack room. Tour the walls of saddles, blankets and bridles and drink in the legendary Western smells of leather and hay. Our horses can play host along with our dedicated event staff.

Silver Dollar Saloon
A ranch wedding isn’t complete without a trip to the Silver Dollar Saloon. The large floor space is flexible for various seating styles or even a group yoga studio. The saloon’s 14-foot screen and sound system also make it ideal for use as a private cinema.

Welcome BBQ Dinner
Main Courses: Whole roasted pig with Carolina barbeque sauce and Stone Ranch wagyu beef brisket with Oaxacan barbeque sauce and red rainbow trout with fermented green garlic.
Sides: Cast-iron mac and cheese, cornbread and honey butter, coleslaw, collard greens, green salad with buttermilk dressing and lemon/dill vinaigrette, Dixon melon salad with roasted passila peppers and almonds, and ranchero beans.
Dessert: Apple crisp with cinnamon whipped cream.
Appetizers: Raw bar – fresh and smoked Olympic Peninsula shellfish, accoutrement and petit lettuces and radishes. Cured meats and Montana cheeses.
Dinner (Plated family style according to preferences): Yellowstone grass-fed beef bavette, grilled Bitterroot Valley chicken with white barbeque sauce, wild Alaskan salmon with preserved lemon and horseradish, fingerling potato with Manchego cheese and aromatics, creamed corn with espelette chili, grilled broccoli salad with white beans and grilled onion, farm heirloom tomato salad with watermelon vinaigrette and picholine olives, garlic bread, grilled farm vegetables with red wine vinaigrette, cast-iron mushrooms and sage.
Dessert: Macerated strawberries with angel food cake and vanilla whipped cream.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, a large wedding must be a buyout of all The Ranch’s accommodations and services for a minimum of three nights, so that we can provide first-class services to all your wedding guests. If you are interested in eloping with a group of 20 or less, you do not need to buy out the property.
Please note that during the spring, winter and fall, a buyout is more likely to be available and at a reduced rate from our peak summer season.
Buyouts for groups of 21 or more start at $90,000 per night plus a 23% Ranch fee. We are happy to create a custom quote for your party. Please fill out our wedding and event request for proposal at the bottom of the page.
Yes. If you are interested in a wedding at The Ranch, we encourage you to find a wedding planner that can help bring all aspects of your destination wedding together in our beautiful setting. Though we provide catering, set-up, on-site coordination, staff, accommodations, activities and more, a wedding coordinator works with you through all aspects of the process, including liaising with your guests and creating a unique vision. If you don’t have a wedding planner in mind, we can recommend trusted vendors.

No, The Ranch is designed to be an all-inclusive resort, so our services are based on providing activities, dining and amenities for guests staying on-property.
Yes. The majority of our guests plan an outdoor ceremony, and most of the time the ceremony goes off without a hitch. However, Montana weather (and all weather) can surprise us. In that case, we will propose a beautiful indoor space that will complement your wedding vision.
Yes! All of our catering is on-site, and it is all prepared by our world-class Relais & Châteaux culinary team. Please see above for sample menus prepared by Executive Chef Josh Drage. Our menus are created based on the preferences of the bride and groom.

Airport transfers are available and included from Missoula, Butte and Anaconda airports. A Ranch employee will greet guests at the airport and drive them to The Ranch. Our employees will be required to wear masks during transportation. Water and snacks are available for the drive.
Your Group Coordinator will collect all flight/travel information prior to arrival in order to provide transportation for all guests.
