Biking Adventures

Explore America's growing gravel biking destination, Western Montana. This activity uses premium gravel bikes and is especially suited to experienced cyclists. Hit the road on a half or full-day biking excursion with routes varying from 15 to 50 miles and gaining 500 to 2,500 feet in elevation. Routes will be chosen based on weather and rider proficiency. No ebikes are used.

Try one of Western Montana’s favorite sports—cross-country mountain biking. Options range from a low-tempo pedal along Rock Creek Road to a more challenging trail that hugs the hillsides and traverses the sagebrush flats of our 10 square mile ranch. After speaking with your bike guide about your desired adventure, we'll guide you on a 4 to 12 mile ride with 300 to 1500 elevation gain and loss. The Rod & Gun Club has Santa Cruz mountain bikes that can help you go further on your adventure.

Before heading into higher elevations, get fitted for a Santa Cruz eMTB and helmet at the Rod & Gun Club. Staff will guide your on your journey with a progressive lesson as you head toward the trail.

Peddle atop the snowy terrain on a fat tire bike. With the stable, 4.5 inch-wide tires, fat biking is not only extra fun, but will also take you places most bikes can't venture to see in the cooler months. Ride snow covered trails on property or tackle longer trails at Echo Lake or Skalkaho Pass Road.
